San Diego Authorities Launch Manhunt Following Fatal Stabbing in Barrio Logan

San Diego police are actively searching for a group of suspects involved in a deadly stabbing that occurred late Friday night in the Barrio Logan neighborhood. Officers arrived at the 1600 block of Logan Avenue shortly after 11:00 p.m. to find a 28-year-old man suffering from critical wounds in a nearby alleyway. Despite immediate life-saving efforts from bystanders and emergency responders, the victim succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local trauma center.

Investigators believe the victim was surrounded by a group consisting of three men and one woman before the fatal confrontation took place. While authorities briefly detained two individuals near the scene for questioning, both were subsequently released as the investigation remains ongoing. Detectives spent much of Saturday canvassing the area for evidence and potential witnesses, though they have not yet released specific descriptions of the perpetrators. The identity of the deceased man is being withheld until his family can be properly notified.
