Prosecutors Move to Obtain Tiger Woods’ Medical Records Following DUI Arrest

Martin County prosecutors are moving to secure Tiger Woods’ prescription drug records as part of the ongoing investigation into his March 27 crash on Jupiter Island. The legal team filed a notice of intent to issue a subpoena on April 22, seeking detailed information regarding the athlete's medication history from the beginning of the year through the date of the incident. Investigators are requesting specific data, including dosage amounts, fill times, and any explicit warnings provided to Woods about operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of his prescribed substances.

The 50-year-old golf icon faces charges of driving under the influence with property damage and refusing to submit to testing after his SUV veered off the road and landed on its side. While Woods denied alcohol consumption at the scene, he reportedly admitted to deputies that he had taken medication prior to the accident. Following his release on bond, Woods received court approval to travel abroad for specialized inpatient treatment, with his legal counsel citing the necessity of a controlled environment away from public scrutiny to address his complex clinical needs. The case is set to resume in court on May 5.
