Qatar Donates Luxurious 747-8i to Trump for Interim Air Force One Use

The U.S. Air Force has commenced test flights on a lavish Boeing 747-8i aircraft donated by Qatar to serve as an interim Air Force One for President Donald Trump. The jet, designated the VC-25B Bridge Aircraft, is being evaluated ahead of its expected delivery to the Presidential Airlift Group by summer 2026. This move comes as Boeing continues to delay the delivery of the highly anticipated VC-25B aircraft, which were originally slated to replace the aging Air Force One fleet.

The donated jet, previously operated by Qatari Royal Flight, is currently undergoing modifications at L3 Technologies in Greenville, Texas.
