Indiana Man Charged After Violent Attack on Pregnant Partner During Gaming Dispute

**BODY:**

Law enforcement in Indiana has arrested Danny Wall, a 37-year-old man, on charges of domestic battery involving his pregnant partner and their young child. The incident occurred after Wall's partner unplugged his video game console and reprimanded him for excessive gaming, leading to a violent altercation. During the attack, Wall allegedly punched his partner while she held their five-month-old daughter, resulting in serious injuries.

According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by local media, Wall admitted to losing control during the confrontation. He confessed to punching his partner, pulling her hair, and striking her in the head. The woman, who is six weeks pregnant, was evaluated on-site but declined further medical treatment.

The Department of Child Services (DCS) was notified due to the presence of their young daughter during the altercation. Wall has been booked into the Lawrence County Jail and released under conditions prohibiting contact with his partner. He is scheduled to appear in court for an initial hearing and faces additional proceedings on May 12.

This case highlights the severity of domestic violence, particularly against a pregnant woman and in the presence of a minor. Authorities are emphasizing the need for accountability and protection for victims of such abuse.
