Missouri Man Parks Wife’s Car 15 Times at School with Threatening Bumper Sticker
A Missouri man has been charged with making terrorist threats and stalking after repeatedly parking his deceased wife’s car at her workplace, a high school in St. Charles, and district offices. Alex Reichert, 36, allegedly targeted the school where his wife, Skye, worked as a teacher and made online threats blaming staff for her suicide earlier this year.
Reichert is accused of making numerous threats against St. Charles High School, including targeting a female employee described in court papers as his “paramour.” He allegedly stalked the staffer, students, and the school itself, with police noting that he circled the campus in his wife’s car, which bore a bumper sticker reading, “I’m unpredictable.” The man was also seen parking the vehicle near the school and district offices at least 15 times.
Prosecutors claim Reichert engaged in a pattern of harassment, including online threats and social media posts referencing countdowns ending on the date of the school’s graduation. These actions have created significant fear within the community, with students describing the situation as “very scary” and “uncomfortable.” Reichert is charged with making a terrorist threat and stalking, and authorities believe he poses an ongoing danger to both the staffer and the broader community.
Reichert’s behavior has been described as escalating despite being served with an order of protection. Court records also indicate that he and his wife had previously filed a defamation lawsuit against the staffer in question before her death. The case remains pending, with Reichert ordered held without bond ahead of his court appearance next week.
