Texas Mother Arrested for Allegedly Concealing Girlfriend's Brutal Abuse of Children
Authorities in Houston have arrested 30-year-old Jamesha Wilson for her alleged role in a conspiracy to hide the extensive abuse of two young children. Wilson faces multiple charges, including intentional injury to a child and injury by omission. Her girlfriend, Kevonnisha Jones, is currently a fugitive wanted by law enforcement on similar charges.
The investigation began in September 2025 when paramedics responded to an emergency at a Sunnyside neighborhood apartment. A three-year-old girl was found with a catastrophic brain bleed and broken bones, requiring a partial skull removal and life support. Medical staff also discovered belt buckle marks on the child's neck and torso, prompting a report to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators later found that a two-year-old child in the home had also suffered multiple fractures and bruises in various stages of healing, indicating a prolonged pattern of violence. While Jones initially claimed the three-year-old fell from a bed, evidence suggests a coordinated effort to deceive police. Text messages revealed that Wilson and Jones communicated to align their stories regarding the children's injuries and their daily activities.
Wilson is currently held in the Harris County Jail on a 200,000 dollar bond. She is scheduled for another court appearance on July 2. Police continue to search for Jones as the legal proceedings move forward.
