Man Sentenced to Decade in Prison for Brutal Home Invasion in Pennsylvania

A 34-year-old man named Nafis Lamont Donte Fisher has been sentenced to between four and a half to ten years in state prison, followed by five consecutive years of probation, after breaking into the home of a mother and daughter in Upper Southampton Township, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. on October 7, 2025, when Fisher entered the residence with a large kitchen knife and a 12-foot extension cord.

According to prosecutors, Fisher initially restrained the younger victim, who was 25 years old at the time, on her bed before she managed to scream loud enough for him to flee. He then encountered and briefly struggled with the mother in the hallway before escaping through the house's kitchen and basement, exiting via an attached garage. Upon arrival, police found evidence of the intruder’s presence: a large knife left on the daughter's bed and an extension cord lying nearby.

The investigation was aided significantly by technology; law enforcement tracked Fisher using the "FindMy" feature associated with stolen AirPods that were part of his loot. This allowed officers to follow him from Upper Southampton down the Pennsylvania Turnpike into Delaware County, leading them to a black 2014 Kia Forte in Philadelphia where he was found resting. The suspect's identity was confirmed when an officer remotely activated the stolen AirPods inside the vehicle.

The psychological impact on both victims has been severe, with lasting fear and anxiety affecting their daily lives. The younger victim now experiences panic at night noises that previously would not have triggered such a response, while her mother struggles with disturbed sleep and ongoing fear. Prosecutors described the incident as "the most frightening kind of burglary," underscoring the trauma inflicted upon the victims.
