New Thermal Image Reveals Unseen Aircraft Over Area 51

A new thermal image has surfaced online, purportedly showing an unidentified aircraft flying over the secretive Groom Lake facility, also known as Area 51. The image was first shared by the Project Fear YouTube channel on June 3 and is being promoted as a teaser for an upcoming video release. While the quality of the image is poor due to its thermal nature, it appears to depict an aircraft that closely resembles the design speculated for the F-47 sixth-generation stealth fighter currently under development for the U.S. Air Force.

Anders Otteson, who runs the Uncanny Expeditions YouTube channel and specializes in exploring classified locations around Nevada and California, confirmed the authenticity of both the image and the video to The War Zone (TWZ). According to Otteson, Project Fear approached him for advice on filming equipment before capturing the footage. He verified that the thermal camera used was an InfiRay HCH50R, which he owns himself.

The sighting occurred around two months ago when the aircraft was flying very low over the hills south of Rachel, Nevada. Although Otteson was not present during the actual sighting, he received and reviewed the footage shortly after it was captured. He expressed excitement about the discovery and took to the r/area51 subreddit to clarify his involvement and vouch for the authenticity of the video.

This latest revelation adds another layer to the ongoing speculation surrounding Area 51 and its role in developing advanced military aircraft. The triangular shape of the aircraft, reminiscent of earlier stealth prototypes, underscores the secretive nature of experimental flight testing conducted at Groom Lake.
