Texas Woman Arrested for Allegedly Dismembering and Concealing Boyfriend's Remains
A 31-year-old woman from San Angelo, Texas, has been arrested after police allege she shot, stabbed, and dismembered her live-in boyfriend before attempting to hide his remains. The incident began on June 24 when an anonymous tip led authorities to search a dumpster where some of the victim's body parts were allegedly discarded. However, by the time officers arrived, the contents had already been transported to a landfill in a trash truck. Inside the truck, police found clothes and a carpet with fresh blood stains, as well as a torso matching the description of Roland Matthew Shepard, 34.
Following this discovery, authorities obtained a search warrant for Troncoso's residence, where they discovered additional human remains mixed into wet concrete inside totes in a vehicle parked in the driveway. Audrey Troncoso was arrested at the scene and confessed during an interview with police that she had used a saw and knives to dismember Shepard after shooting him in the face. She also admitted to mixing concrete to conceal parts of his body.
The investigation further revealed that Troncoso's father, Mario Valdes Troncoso Jr., was arrested on June 25 for allegedly aiding in the disposal of the remains by tampering with evidence. Both Audrey Troncoso and her father are currently behind bars; she is being held on a $2 million bond while he faces a $100,000 bond. Police have not disclosed any motive for the homicide but described it as one of the most violent cases they've encountered recently in San Angelo.
