Oklahoma Authorities Investigate Teen Girl's Pregnancy Amid Surrogacy Claims
Oklahoma City police are investigating a disturbing case involving a 14-year-old girl who is pregnant with twins, allegedly serving as a surrogate for her mother and the mother's 36-year-old boyfriend. The investigation began in December 2025 following reports of a possible sexual assault at an apartment complex. Child Protective Services later referred the case, indicating the teen's pregnancy and suggesting the mother's boyfriend as the potential father.
Court documents reveal the mother claimed her daughter "desperately" wanted more siblings and that she and her boyfriend desired children together, but she could not conceive due to a tubal ligation. While the mother denied allowing her boyfriend a sexual relationship with her daughter, police obtained a search warrant for the boyfriend's DNA to establish paternity. The victim has since been placed in protective custody and is expected to give birth this month.
This case raises significant legal and ethical concerns, as Oklahoma law mandates a gestational carrier must be at least 21 years old, regardless of whether the pregnancy resulted from sexual assault. No arrests have been made, and authorities face challenges as the mother has reportedly moved to California after her children were removed, and the boyfriend's whereabouts are unknown. The Oklahoma City Police Department continues to review evidence to determine the next steps in this ongoing investigation.
