IRGC Claims Jordanian Support Aids Strikes on US Bases in Jordan

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that recent retaliatory operations against U.S. military assets in Jordan were significantly aided by local intelligence and cooperation from the Jordanian people. In a statement released Monday, the IRGC thanked Jordanians for their assistance in providing "accurate information" that led to precise targeting of U.S. forces.

The attacks reportedly resulted in significant damage at multiple bases, including Al-Azraq (Muwaffaq Salti) Base and King Faisal Air Base. According to satellite imagery from Soar Atlas, the strikes caused extensive destruction, with damage evident to aircraft hangars, troop accommodation areas, and shelters housing U.S. forces.

The IRGC reported that their operations led to the killing of dozens of U.S. soldiers in Jordan alone, including at least three fatalities confirmed by local sources. Additionally, the attacks targeted large C-17 transport planes and P-8 command and control aircraft at Aqaba Airport with ballistic missiles, causing heavy damage.

In a separate statement addressing Kuwaiti citizens, the IRGC detailed overnight operations against U.S. sites in Kuwait's Ali al-Salem Air Base on July 20th. The strikes reportedly destroyed an early-warning radar system and damaged facilities housing aviation equipment, spare parts, and MQ-9 drones. Several of these drones were set ablaze during the attack.

The IRGC also highlighted a surprise attack carried out against the Al-Tanf Base in Syria on July 17th, which they claim was in response to a U.S. attack that killed several Iranian troops previously. While the United States officially withdrew from all bases in Syria, including Al-Tanf, the IRGC asserts that their operation "killed a number of US soldiers."

These events have escalated tensions between Iran and the United States dramatically over recent days, following President Donald Trump's renewed campaign of strikes against Iranian targets. The involvement of local populations in Jordan reportedly provided critical intelligence for the precise targeting of U.S. military assets.
