Man Arrested for Threatening to Kill President Trump in TikTok Video

A 20-year-old man from Washington state was arrested after posting a threatening message on TikTok where he vowed to "rush the White House" and kill President Donald Trump. Ayden Langevin is facing charges of interstate communication with a threat to injure following his arrest at his mother's house in Orting, near Tacoma.

According to court documents, Langevin has a history of making threats against political figures on social media platforms. In August 2024, he allegedly posted on X (formerly Twitter) that if Kamala Harris won the presidential election, he would assassinate her. This threat brought him to the attention of U.S. Secret Service agents who interviewed him at his home a few months later.

In September 2025, Langevin was again investigated for threatening another individual on Instagram. During this investigation, he denied making the posts and assured authorities that he would not cause any trouble. However, in June of this year, Langevin posted a video to TikTok where he expressed his intent to kill President Trump and members of the Secret Service.

The video, which had poor lighting quality, was identified by federal agents as being made by Langevin. In the footage, he stated: "It's as simple as we all grab guns, we all group together, and we all rush the White House and actually kill Trump and all of Secret Service."

Upon questioning by FBI agents and local police on Sunday at his mother’s house, Langevin admitted to posting the video out of anger over current events such as the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein and ongoing conflicts with Iran. He expressed regret for his actions and claimed that he removed the post after about 30 minutes.

Langevin was arrested and released on bond pending further legal proceedings. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 14, where prosecutors will present evidence against him in connection with these threats.

This case highlights the growing concern over online threats directed at public figures and the potential consequences individuals face when making such statements publicly. Authorities are increasingly vigilant about monitoring social media platforms to prevent any real-world violence from occurring as a result of inflammatory rhetoric posted online.
