Teen Charged with Murder in Georgia After Dismembered Remains of DoorDash Driver Found

An 18-year-old man has been charged with malice murder and concealing the death of another after the dismembered remains of a 26-year-old woman were discovered in plastic bins at an apartment complex in Smyrna, Georgia. The victim, identified as Shanteria Mosley, was reported missing by her family on September 23 when they could not reach her and tracked her phone to Park Valley Apartments.

According to the Smyrna Police Department, officers responded to a missing person call at the apartments where they found dismembered human remains in a plastic tub inside an apartment. Kingston Bradley, who lives in the same complex, was seen carrying what appeared to be a plastic bin through public areas of the building and dropped it when he noticed a witness. He then fled into his own apartment.

Police executed a search warrant on September 25 and found garbage bags containing body parts in the trunk of a vehicle owned by Bradley. Medical examiner’s office personnel confirmed that one bag contained human remains, leading to charges being upgraded from concealing the death of another to malice murder against Bradley.

The police investigation indicates Mosley was likely killed between 10 a.m. and noon on September 23. While the exact circumstances surrounding her relationship with Bradley are still under scrutiny, it is known that she worked as a DoorDash driver. The company confirmed there is no evidence suggesting Mosley made deliveries to the address where her body parts were found.

Bradley’s criminal history includes multiple violent incidents documented in court records from December 2024. He was charged with terroristic threats and acts, simple battery, battery, and criminal trespass after allegedly hitting his father and a 15-year-old child with an Xbox controller, breaking a door, and shattering a window by pushing the teenager into it.

Smyrna Police Department public information officer Lt. Meredith Holt described the crime as particularly gruesome, noting that she has been in law enforcement for over two decades but had never encountered such a case before. Bradley is currently being held without bond at Cobb County Jail while authorities continue their investigation to determine how Mosley and Bradley knew each other.

This tragic incident highlights the ongoing dangers faced by gig workers like DoorDash drivers who often operate alone and may face risks in unfamiliar areas or with unknown clients.
