Russian Government Dossier on JFK Assassination Delivered to Congress, Made Public

A 386-page dossier, reportedly compiled by the Russian government and detailing its findings on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, has been delivered to the United States and subsequently released to the public. The documents, primarily in Russian, were hand-delivered by the Russian Ambassador to the United States to Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL). Representative Luna announced the release and public posting of the material this week, noting its significant historical implications.

Luna's office received the physical dossier directly from the Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C. She highlighted that previous attempts by Congress in the 1990s to obtain this material were unsuccessful. A team of experts is currently working to translate and authenticate the files, which appear in their original, unedited, and unredacted form as delivered. Veteran journalist and author Jefferson Morley has published the documents in full on his Substack platform, JFK Facts, ensuring public access without restrictions.

Morley, known for his extensive research into U.S. intelligence and the Kennedy assassination, was entrusted with the public dissemination of the dossier. Luna emphasized that while experts are actively authenticating the legitimacy of these documents, they are currently believed to be authentic. Early English-language sections of the dossier suggest a focus on Lee Harvey Oswald's time in the Soviet Union and potential intelligence connections, though the full scope of the Russian findings awaits complete translation.
