Costs and delays on NNSA construction projects more than doubled since 2023: GAO report

A Government Accountability Office (GAO) report indicates that construction projects managed by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) have experienced significant cost increases and delays. Since 2023, these issues have more than doubled. The GAO attributes these problems to factors including management, vendor, and input costs.
