Tacoma Babysitter Faces Felony Charges After Allegedly Filming Sexual Assault of Infant
Washington prosecutors have officially charged 25-year-old William Kelso Flournoy IV with first-degree rape of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor following a disturbing investigation into abuse occurring throughout 2023. The suspect, who also goes by the name Isabelle, allegedly committed the crimes while providing childcare for a couple who had invited the individual to live with them and watch their three children. Authorities discovered the abuse after Google flagged sexually explicit images linked to the suspect's accounts, prompting an investigation by the FBI’s Missing and Exploited Children Task Force.
Evidence collected by investigators includes graphic recordings and photographs that depict the suspect engaging in sexual acts with a 6- or 7-month-old infant. Forensic analysis of the imagery, including distinct physical markers on the suspect’s hands, helped link Flournoy to the crimes. Beyond the current charges, officials are actively investigating whether there are additional victims, noting that the suspect previously held a position at a residential facility for transient youth in Tacoma. Flournoy, who failed to appear for an initial court date, is currently held on a $1 million bail as the legal proceedings move forward.
