The Wilson-Davis Memo

Leaked notes from a 2002 meeting between Dr. Eric Davis and Admiral Thomas Wilson

The Wilson-Davis memo is a set of handwritten and typed notes allegedly documenting an October 16, 2002 meeting between astrophysicist Dr. Eric W. Davis of the National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS) and Vice Admiral Thomas R. Wilson, former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). The document was first made public in 2019 when it appeared among the personal files of the late astronaut Edgar Mitchell.

In the notes, Wilson allegedly describes being denied access to a deeply classified Special Access Program (SAP) involving the study and reverse-engineering of recovered non-human technology. Wilson reportedly states that a private aerospace contractor was managing the program with very limited oversight, and that his attempts to gain access were blocked despite his senior rank. The memo has become one of the most discussed documents in the UAP disclosure community.
