Man Allegedly Threatens President Trump With Violent Plans and Arsenal

The U.S. Department of Justice has announced charges against Kadrioan Santiago, a 23-year-old man from Berea, Kentucky, who allegedly threatened to kill President Donald Trump and carry out violent acts against law enforcement and ICE agents. According to federal prosecutors, Santiago compiled an arsenal of weapons, including rifles, tactical gear, and body armor, while making graphic threats online.

The criminal complaint reveals that Santiago used the username "kadi_skating" on Instagram to post threatening statements between January 2026 and March 2026. He allegedly threatened to harm Trump by cutting his face with a razor blade, removing his skin, and feeding it to stray dogs. Santiago also encouraged violence against ICE agents, stating, "the american people NEED to start shooting at the necks, legs, and arms of ICE agents."

Federal investigators launched an inquiry after receiving information about Santiago's threats in April 2026. During a traffic stop on April 14, Garrard County sheriff's deputies arrested Santiago and seized his arsenal, which included a handgun, AR-15-style rifle, additional long gun, magazines, Kevlar helmet, gas masks, and survival gear.

"Santiago's actions are extremely concerning," said Garrard County Sheriff Willie Skeens. "Fortunately, nobody was injured during this arrest." Santiago is scheduled to appear in court for a detention hearing on Monday.

The case highlights the serious consequences of online threats against public figures and law enforcement. FBI Special Agent Olivia Olson emphasized that such threats will be pursued aggressively, stating, "It is against the law to post threatening communications online," and warned that authorities will use all available resources to identify and arrest those who do so.
