Republican Congressman Urges Trump to Reveal UFO Secrets and Protect Whistleblowers
Republican Congressman Eric Burlison has made a direct appeal to President Donald Trump, urging him to protect whistleblowers who have come forward with credible claims of recovered non-human technology. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Burlison highlighted the need for legal assurances such as pensions and clearances for those who disclose classified information about unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). He emphasized that these individuals should be allowed to speak not only before Congress but also directly to the American public.
Burlison's call comes amid growing pressure from various quarters, including Matthew Brown, a prominent advocate of UFO disclosure. Brown echoed Burlison’s sentiments, stressing the importance of protecting whistleblowers and preparing the American people for significant revelations about UAPs. He emphasized that the American populace is ready to confront the truth regarding potential extraterrestrial encounters.
Avi Loeb, head of the White House's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Science and Technology Advisory Committee (UAPSAC), has also thrown his weight behind efforts to secure legal protections for whistleblowers. In a recent video statement, Loeb confirmed that UAPSAC supports requests made by individuals like David Grusch and Eric Davis for immunity from prosecution so they can share information about alleged non-human technology with the council.
Michael Shermer, another member of UAPSAC, chimed in to support Burlison’s appeal, noting that such disclosures could be one of the most consequential events in presidential history. Shermer encouraged Trump to take decisive action to facilitate these revelations.
Additionally, Burlison revealed details about a recent baiting operation conducted by multiple intelligence agencies, including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), CIA, and FBI. According to Burlison, the operation involved recreating conditions that attract UAPs at locations with prior activity, resulting in an actual sighting during the exercise.
Despite this progress, there are signs of hesitation among some former officials who were initially supportive of disclosure efforts. James Clapper, a key figure in previous discussions about UFO transparency, has reportedly stepped back from promoting such initiatives due to growing discomfort with the increased attention and potential risks involved.
The mounting pressure on President Trump to address these issues underscores the complex interplay between national security concerns, scientific inquiry, and public interest in UAP phenomena. As Burlison’s appeal gains traction, it remains to be seen how the administration will respond to calls for greater transparency and protection for whistleblowers.
