Pentagon Releases New UFO Documents; RAF Reports Unidentified Black Objects Over North Sea
The Department of War released its seventh batch of documents related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) this week, marking a significant update in the ongoing disclosure efforts. The new release includes 28 PDF files and notably no video footage, which contrasts with previous releases that often featured visual evidence. Among these documents is an FBI interview report from 2026 detailing a sighting by two federal law enforcement agents of what they described as a "silent black triangle." This object was observed ascending vertically to approximately 300 feet before hovering and then executing a high-speed banking maneuver into a canyon drainage.
The incident, documented in the FBI's FD-306 report, occurred when one agent alerted his colleague about an unusual sighting. Upon investigation, both agents reported seeing a dark triangular object with a wingspan of nine to fifteen feet, a depth of six to nine feet, and a thickness of one to two feet. The object exhibited extraordinary maneuverability, transitioning from hovering to high-speed horizontal flight in mere seconds without producing any sound or visible exhaust.
Meanwhile, the UK Airprox Board's summary sheet for its April meeting revealed RAF crew reports of unidentified black objects overflying military aircraft in February 2026. On February 18th, an RAF Voyager was refueling a Typhoon near Cromer when the crew spotted a circular black object passing directly overhead at about 100-150 feet above them. The incident prompted immediate notification to air traffic control as a potential drone threat, despite radar operators confirming no such object appeared on their screens.
A similar sighting occurred five days later off the Yorkshire coast where a Typhoon pilot reported seeing a circular black object, comparable in size to a car tire, pass directly overhead at around 300 feet. Both incidents were categorized by the Airprox Board as "unknown objects" due to the lack of corroborating radar evidence and the high level of uncertainty surrounding their nature.
These sightings add to an already complex narrative regarding UAP encounters worldwide. While some sources claim President Trump has been briefed on a legacy crash-retrieval program, others assert that he remains unaware of such activities. Ross Coulthart reported on NewsNation's "Reality Check" that the President is fully aware and overseeing the matter at a high level in the White House, with Devin Nunes playing a key role. However, Jay Stratton, during his book tour, stated that the legacy program has remained secret from both Congress and the President.
Rep. Eric Burlison of Missouri further complicated matters by suggesting the existence of a "Deep State" still holding onto classified information regarding UAP encounters. This statement reflects ongoing debates within government circles about transparency and accountability in handling such phenomena. The President's own response to inquiries remains ambiguous, with his recent comment being simply, “I'm looking.”
The Pentagon’s latest release and these RAF reports underscore the persistent nature of unidentified aerial sightings and highlight the challenges faced by military and intelligence agencies in understanding and responding to them. As more documents become available, public interest and scrutiny are likely to intensify, pushing for greater clarity and transparency from government officials regarding UAP encounters.
